Staking is a way for token holders to earn rewards for holding and supporting the network by keeping their tokens locked up for a certain period of time.

One of the key advantages of staking SUIS tokens is that users are able to earn returns simply by holding onto their tokens for a specified period of time. The protocol's revenue is partially used to repurchase tokens, which are then distributed among stakers as rewards.

However, it is important to note that staking SUIS tokens requires users to be committed for a certain period of time, during which the tokens cannot be withdrawn. Once users decide to un-stake their tokens, they must do so within two weeks. During this time, the tokens will be gradually unlocked, but won't generate any returns or be usable for governance or Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs).

Withdrawal fee

For users who need to access their funds immediately, SUIS offers the option of immediate withdrawal, but this comes with a 15% penalty fee. The fee is used to compensate other investors and is included in the DAO's revenue.

Participate IDOs while Staking

In addition to staking SUIS tokens, users also have the opportunity to stake SUIS tokens for a selected locking period, which can range anywhere from 30 days to 3 years. By doing so, users can earn staking rewards and also participate in IDOs by transferring their SUIS tokens directly from the staking pool to the SUIS launchpad's Community Pool.

Finally, it is important to note that the APY for staking is shown along with cumulative APY and APY from the previous week (year to date), but these figures are indicative and do not guarantee future performance due to various factors.
